Insurance & fees
Use your coverage when you have it
Park Slope Eye is an in-network VSP provider. Eligible VSP patients can use their in-network VSP benefits at Park Slope Eye. We also participate in network with EyeMed and UFT.
Most Park Slope Eye patients use a vision plan, medical insurance, or both rather than paying entirely out of pocket. Which benefits apply depends on the reason for your visit, the services performed, and your specific plans.
We also publish our core self-pay prices for transparency. Eligible exam, refraction, and contact-lens service fees include our 15% time-of-service discount for patients who are not using vision-plan or medical-insurance benefits.
Insurance, fees, prescriptions & patient policiesContact lenses
Contact lenses are one of our favorite things to get right.
We keep thousands of contact-lens trial lenses in the office, including broad and full fitting sets, so we can often try even high or complicated prescriptions the same day.
We also stay closely involved with new contact-lens developments, which gives us more thoughtful options when the first lens is not the right one.
